As part of ES ABS Product and Software (ABS PSW)  QA/Tests organization, you are responsible in testing Communication, Media and Entertainment (CME) software products and provide an independent judgment of the quality of the software.  QA/Tests organization is a key contributor to deliver HP Customers with good software quality so that the business organization can accelerate revenues recognition, minimize support costs and ensure long term customer loyalty. The department includes several Test Centers in all regions and you will be part of the Bangalore Test Center joining  a team of test professionals.
You will work on Cloud Service Enablement (CSE) solution family which is a an emerging / growing solution and  a strategic bet for the business. This solution includes several CMS products such as aggregated platform (ap4SaaS), adapters for CaaS or IaaS,  application, Service Activator (HPSA),   xx  (IUM) and 3rd party or open source components like Oracle, Jboss and running on HP Proliant Servers and Linux Redhat operating system.
System Tests for this solution are currently performed in Grenoble, France and you will be one of the 2 system testers that will enable some  CSE System tests in Bangalore working closely with the Grenoble team in the first phase.  Initial  period will include significant ramp up and expertise transfer thru hands-on, remote session and face-to-face sessions with the Grenoble team.  This team is intended to grow and to take responsibility of CSE system tests in the future.

Validate CSE end-to-end solution to ensure that the software reach the right level of quality and the functional and non functional requirements meet release criteria (within cost and time constraints).
This is ensured thru developing and executing software test strategy for system/integration  tests (blackbox mode in an end-to-end solution environment), analyzing testability of requirements, developing test scenario and test tools, executing tests, submitting defects, characterizing defects with development team when necessary.  while ensuring traceability of these activities into HP ALM integrated tool (requirements, tests, change requests).
System tests includes all categories, i.e end-to-end functional, installation/upgrade/migration, operations, performances, robustness/tests, security, high availability…  The objective is to contain more than 85% of defects before release to customers.
