Job Summary
The Network Engineer performs design, optimization and audit of a network to meet the customer requirements. The Network Engineer role is applicable for design & optimization of RAN, BBA, Transmission, Core, OM and Services Networks. The Network Engineer can be engaged in the whole process from pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and acceptance.
The role is focused on executing design, audit and optimization services, where the network engineer is responsible for part of the solution and part of the service process. Hereby, the Network Engineer is responsible to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and Customer contract.

Job Summary:
Perform RF optimization and other RF related service activities for wireless networks (WCDMA). He should be familiar with RF Basics, RF parameters and Radio features for WCDMA.
Able to work independently and as part of a group. Reliable and efficient targeting for good quality. Analytical approach and problem solving skills. Good Planning, organizing skills and Presentation skills. Should have attitude for knowledge sharing.
Able to communicate and handle Local and Foreign Customer.
Open to relocate Local or abroad as per Project requirement.
Core Competences:
Deep Knowledge and practice on 3G optimization processes.
Deep Knowledge and practice of drive test measurement/analysis tool (TEMS, NEMO, or equivalent) Deep Knowledge and practice of MAPINFO Deep knowledge and practice of RAN parameters and counters.
Deep Knowledge and practice of OSS & RAN tools used for optimizing the WCDMA network.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Deep knowledge on 3G KPIs for CS & PS (Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, Throughput, Integrity, EUL, HSDPA).
• 3G Parameters for RRC setup, CS AMR setup, CS64 setup, PS setup, IRAT HO, HSDPA, HSUPA, Congestion (CE, Code, Iub, Power), etc.
• Knowledge of RF Parameters, Neighbor list optimization, Pilot pollution, CE, SC & PC Planning, HARQ, ISHO feature, etc.
• Setting the specific RF parameters for the NodeBs to be integrated: Neighbors, Scrambling code etc.
• Traffic analysis of network and implement capacity enhancement plan.
• Analyzing site performance after integration through drive test measurements and/or OSS measurements, detecting eventual problems and recommending changes to fixing those problems.
• Defining RAN default parameters according to model sites and Key Performance Indicators using RAN counters.
• Knowledge of Call flow for CS and PS call.
• Defining and monitoring parameter consistency check rules in order to Maintain RAN parameter database consistent internally and implemented according to the RAN default parameters and RAN planned specific parameters.
• Defining and monitoring KPIs reports on network, area and RAN level.
• Defining and monitoring ‘worst objects’ reports at Node-B & RNC level.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting ‘worst objects’ reports by recommending parameter changes, hardware changes or alerting O&M in case of hardware problem.
• Analyzing drive test measurements to detect eventual problems and recommend changes to fix those problems.
Mandatory Hands-on working experience
• Experience in analyzing drive test measurement. Knowledge on using post processing and analysis tool (TEMS, NEMO, Actix, Mapinfo, Netact, Optimizer)
• Should be familiar with OSS tools, Reporting solution, Counters, Timers & Parameters and Feature.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:
B-Tech/B.E. – Electronics/Telecommunication with “3-5” years of experience in RF domain with good knowledge in Optimization (WCDMA).
