The Storage Administrator will be involved in management of all centralized storage technologies. This technology includes the various NAS environments, storage networks, DAS environments and all other technologies classified as a storage technology.

Maintains and monitors server hardware; tape libraries and associated tape hardware; storage networks and associated hardware; Tivoli Storage Manager; and vendor – provided storage management software

Candidate should have experience in any of the skills mentioned below.

TSM:

48 months of TSM infrastructure experience

Proficient of TSM Architecture, TSM DB, Log etc

A better knowledge on TSM Server and Client Options

Net App:

48 months of NAS infrastructure experience

Exposure to DR implementation and management.

Knows well about different NetApp Hardware models and OS

EMC DMX:

VMAX DMX accreditation, Any EMC storage aligned accreditation

Windows/Linux Administration

Net Backup:

At least 48 months Experience in Netbackup environment

Ability to install Netbackup Master and Media Servers on OS Platforms and

upgrade.

Ability to configure storage units, tape drives. Ability to create Policies, Volume Pools etc.,

IBM SAN:

18 months of Storage infrastructure experience

Expertise in Multipathing SDD tool implementation and performance tuning, load balancing etc.

Knowledge of ESS and DS8000 logical planning (virtualisation, volume allocation, LSS, Host Attachment, Volume Group etc)

Commvault:

Proficient of Commvault Architecture, Commvault DB, Log etc,A better knowledge on Commvault Server and Client Options,Exposure to DRM implementation and management.Exposure to LAN Free Backup implementation.

Legato Networker:

To provide 3rd level Backup and Recovery Management services, support and product support for various supported backup and storage solutions across various accounts. Duties include Maintain backup solutions and Manage storage solution.

Hitachi

To provide 3rd level Storage Management services, support and product support for client AMS 1000 using Hitachi Command Suite.

Analyze and resolve or escalate problems. Ensure integrity of supported environment.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree

At least 4 years experience in TSM DB

At least 2 years experience in NAS infrastructure

At least 2 years experience in DR implementation

At least 2 years experience in VMAX

At least 2 years experience in Log

At least 2 years experience in DMX

At least 2 years experience in Netback up

At least 2 years experience in Windows

English: Fluent
