Position Summary
Key Objective / Purpose of Job:
Maintain the existing wholesale voice business and grow by adding new carriers and signing new deals.
Major Activities:
Seek and send rate targets from/to carriers in USA and Canada region.
Negotiate Costs and prices with telecom carriers for voice traffic.
Get customers and suppliers in route
Request for price and Service Level changes
Credit and collections follow up with customers
Updating Voice trading systems with bilateral deals
Follow-up with customers for disputes resolution
New Customer hunting
Negotiation of deals and getting contracts signed
Negotiate and sign long term outsourcing deals
Essential Qualifications:
First Class Bachelors degree in Science or Commerce, CA(Inter) or ICWA (Inter).or Diploma / Degree engineer.
Knowledge of Spanish will be an added advantage.
Requisite Skills:
Technical
Very strong analytical aptitude with advance skills in Excel.
Basic knowledge of telecom industry.
Knowledge of office productivity tools like, MS-Office, Access would be a plus.
Functional
Excellent, articulate and discernible English and excellent phone skills.
Professional negotiation skills
Foreign language skills a big plus (Spanish, French, German, etc.)
Behavioural
Ability to work as per USA and Canada time zone.
Self motivated and driven for success.
Work Experience
3 years telecom or wholesale commodity/IT/stock sales experience big plus.
Identify requirements & sales opportunities with customers.Conduct negotiations with customers based on pricing & technical solutions. Engage in custtomer relationship management. Track market for performance of TCL products vis-?-vis competitors’ products. Able to independently resolve complex projects, issues, challenges encountered. Operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area. Capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.May lead/manage small teams for small projects. Capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision. Demonstrate a level of flexibility in resolving problems/issues that at least to in-depth command of all techniques, processes, tools and standards, within the relevant field of specialisation. Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques. Education : Graduate . Engineering degree preferred Experience : 4-7 Years
