Responsibilities
Serve as an industry thought leader in social media and digital advertising in order to drive vertical and client success leveraging Facebook’s ongoing product and technology developments
Strengthen and grow high-level collaborative relationships and upsell revenue
Support the sales team to reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team goals
Provide dedicated account management to top clients, partner together with the sales team to develop, manage, optimize, and support strategic account plans, apply consultative sales strategies and leverage data and product knowledge to create business solutions for clients.
Assist in the resolution of advertiser issues including campaign performance, product bugs, invoicing and credit as well as drive productivity and best practices
Manage and analyze campaign performance to recommend optimized solutions specific to each clients’ goals, metrics, and objectives, including leveraging large and abstract datasets to provide easily understandable and actionable insights for advertising campaigns
Work with the advertiser to understand client’s business objectives and develop media plans and strategies
Facilitate relationships with 3rd party partners, including selection, onboarding, operations, and troubleshooting
Work cross-functionally with teams across Facebook to be up to date on product and technology updates, relevant vertical strategies and insights to constantly be improving customer experience and value proposition
Manage advertiser Page education, questions and related issues in order to build a strong foundation for client’s Facebook presence
Develop vertical expertise, including industry research and perspective, to drive clients overall business objectives and marketing solutions
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
Excellent critical thinking, analytical and technical skills are essential, as well as curiosity, persistence, and the ability to solve problems in a structured manner
Strong ability to apply rigor, methodologies and use technology to execute, assess, and explain complex brand and performance marketing solutions
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage cross functional/partner as well as client relationships in complex and rapidly evolving environment
Excellent communication, influence, presentation skills
Knowledge of online advertising and/or measurement methods and technologies
A passion for and understanding social and performance solutions, products and technologies and their role in marketing brand and direct response objectives
Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment strongly preferred
Strong passion for Facebook and our mission and familiarity with Facebook’s ad products
Self-starter, dynamic, flexible, hard-working, and highly organized
Bachelors or Masters degree preferred

This includes developing and executing Facebook advertising strategies, building deep client relationships, leveraging big data to provide actionable insights, and managing productivity-enhancing projects. With proven understanding of both online and traditional media, this role will align work with partners across Sales to develop industry-specific marketing relationships, drive and upsell revenue by negotiating and optimizing complex opportunities with strategic clients. We look for candidates who enjoy solving complex problems through technical and analytical excellence and commercial acumen, synthesizing disparate pieces of information into concrete recommendations, and project managing multiple streams of work. You should have a deep passion for and understanding of Facebook, our advertising tools, and our advertising philosophy.
