The role of Windows Administrator is to handle deployment, management and maintenance of a regionally diverse Windows System environment.
Responsibilities:
The day to day duties of the Windows Server Administrator are as follows:
• Develop and maintain Windows deployment standards
• Create and maintain Windows Server related documents, tools and monitors
• Maintain existing systems and implement new technologies
• Perform day to day maintenance on Windows Servers 2003 & 2008 environments including account creation, application deployments, script creation, performance tuning and backups
• Proactively monitor servers, storage, applications and services
• Install, configure and maintain server hardware and software at multiple sites
• Deploy hardware, O/S and application patches/updates utilizing best practices

  Technical Skills
  
  • 3-5 years experience as a Windows Systems Administrator
  
  • Experience on managing Windows Server2003 & 2008.
  
  • Skilled and productive in a Windows Power shell environment
  
  • Understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts
  
  • Expert in managing and troubleshooting all common networking issues
  
  • Experience planning for and performing backups, restores and disk imaging (e.g. NTbackup and Windows Server Backup)
  
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge in Deploying managing and troubleshooting of (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, WSUS)
  
  • Skilled on Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 Server Deployment and management.
  
  • Configure Windows Server Cluster and Mail Cluster or DAG Cluster on Exchange 2010.
  
  • Configure and review and update group policies.
  
  • Hands on Experience on HP DL 300 Series Rack Servers.
  
  • Hands on Experience on HP C3000 & C7000 Blade Chassis and C Class Blade Servers.
  
  • Hands on Experience on DELL MD1000, 3000i HP MSA Storage and MSL Tape Libraries.

  Qualification & Certifications:
  
  • Should be Graduate
  
  • MCSA, MCSE or MCITP Certified
  Required
  
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  
  
  • At least 3 years experience in Windows Server Administrator
  
  
  • English: Fluent
