GTS SO Delivery is an arm of IBM that focuses on delivering IT services to clients across the world. This business unit of IBM assists clients to manage all or parts of their IT infrastructure so that the client can focus on achieving its core business objectives. Network Services Delivery is a sub group that is responsible for delivering reliable network services. Network services include all aspects of secured data, voice and video services required to support the client.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Network Engineer will be responsible for management / maintenance of Cisco routers, switches, firewall and VPN. Some of the areas of responsibility are:

- Manage/ maintain and develop skill on WAN & LAN technologies and protocols.

- Troubleshoot and resolve day to day issues related to Firewall, VPN and the Network.

- Initiate and implement change request, provide RCA, design and develop network diagrams.

Prerequisites:

Candidate should be minimum a graduate with 4-6 years of work experience.

Skills Required:

- Experience and skill in Cisco/ Juniper with relevant certification.

- Experience on WAN optimization product like Riverbed/Stealhead.

- Skill/knowledge on Load Balancer, AAA, Syslog and monitoring tools.

- Knowledge on ITIL framework for UID, hardening (SHC), VA, BA and Change Management.

- Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.

- Should have Good attitude and people handling /coordination skills/ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Required

    Bachelor’s Degree
    At least 3 years experience in Cisco/ Juniper
    At least 3 years experience in WAN/LAN
    At least 3 years experience in Firewall, VPN and the Network
    English: Fluent
