Job Title- Cloud Network Manager

Responsible for the overall performance and availability of network including directing the activities of the network engineers responsible for monitoring, installing, testing, maintaining, trouble-shooting, and securing network equipment and facilities.

Ensure that the networks meet current and anticipated availability and capacity requirements.

Provide Project management and overall leadership for Network projects and initiatives.

Communicate relevant network activities to Kronos Management affected by changes or problems with the voice and data networks.

Interface with vendors for product information, maintenance, billing, contract issues, and the timely resolution of escalated problems.

Manage assigned personnel, allocate work and make decisions regarding employment, performance appraisal, training and development, salary recommendations, promotion and transfer.

Develop, implement, and assure adherence to network/security policies and procedures.

Manage / oversee the teams service desk queue’s and lead the support team during any network related priority incidents.

Participate with IT projects to assess their networking needs.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of experience with enterprise networks

3 + years’ experience leading, training, mentoring a network engineering team

Proficiency in Project Management

Strong fundamental understanding with major vendor’s router and switch configurations

Juniper and Cisco

Strong fundamental experience with network security

Firewalls – both layer 3 and layer 7 preferably with Juniper and Palo Alto

IP Sec, VPN configuration, IDS/IPS, NAC

In depth understanding and experience with WAN technologies

MPLS / EVPL, DS1, DS2, OCS, T1/T3, and even dial up modem services

Strong fundamental and in depth experience with network load balancing services and appliances

Solid understanding with both Windows and Linux operating systems

Extensive experience with the setup and support of business to business VPN’s

Experience designing, deploying and supporting dynamic routing protocols

Proficient in the following network protocols: TCP/IP, RIP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, SIP, VOIP, SFTP, etc

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong technical presentation skills

ITIL experience

Change management, Problem management, Capacity Management

ITLI v3 foundation certification is a plus

Network/Security Certifications (CCNP,CCIE, CISSP) desired
